Havana in time

Year 1554

-JUNE 12. The Cabildo habanero ordered the concentration of Indians in the area of Guanabacoa.

-JULY 10.- The French corsair Jacques de Sores managed to occupy Havana for a time, which he practically plundered and destroyed. Juan de Lobera stood out, governor of the Castillo de la Real Fuerza in defense of the city.
