In reference to the commemoration of the 500th Anniversary of the founding of the Villa of San Cristóbal de La Habana, to the Miguel Fernández Roig Company (La Corona) headquarters of the San Cristóbal brand in Havana, it is proposed to incorporate the Cecilia Valdés brand for tobacco. For this project, the extraordinary literary work of the Cuban writer Cirilo Villaverde, in the land of the best tobacco in the world, which has its history framed in the Historical Center of San Cristóbal de La Habana, was taken as reference.

Coincidentally in New York, when La Villa San Cristóbal de La Habana was 340 years old, this work was printed and published.

After the experimental test consisting of the preparation and tasting of the new ligatures, it was concluded that they all make the tobacco more aromatic, a quality that distinguishes it from the rest of the existing ligatures that are marketed.

At the same time, the promotion of a new brand with the name of a woman on the stage of the Anniversary of the founding of Villa de San Cristóbal de La Habana, continues the tradition of the tobacco industry based on literary works, especially in the case of Cuban works. At the same time it serves as a show of support on behalf of the company to the initiatives convened by the country's management on that occasion.
