Concerts for the Homeland, is the name that defines the cultural program that Havana will develop in its 500th anniversary, in support of the Constitutional Referendum and the #YoVotoSi that has occupied most of the Cubans in their Constitutional Reform process.
This Friday the singer Ivette Cepeda premiered the Video Clip #Pais, made on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Havana, in the Tablao of the Gran Teatro de La Habana, and which contains interesting images of the capital of all Cubans.
From Friday 25 to Saturday 23 February the capital will live an intense special program in emblematic areas of the city, densely populated areas and peripheral sites, which will receive the visit of top-level orchestras and leading actors who will act as speakers in each presentation .
Organized by the Cuban Institute of Music and the Ministry of Culture, with the support of the authorities of Havana, on Fridays and Saturdays, between 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 noon, except on Saturday 23, which will be at 5:00 p.m., artists of the stature of Isaac Delgado, the duo Buena Fe; Orchestras such as Pachito Alonso and his Kini Kini, Maykel Blanco and Salsa Mayor, Pupy and Son Son, Arnaldo and his Talisman, Manolito Simonet and his Trabuco, Anacaona and Los Van Van, and the rumba groups Yoruba Andabo and Rumberos from Cuba, they will offer their art free of charge for the entire city.
To Isaac Delgado on Friday, on Avenida 124 and 45, in Marianao, and Buena Fe, on Saturday, on 29th and 22nd streets, in Playa, it is up to them to start the Conciertos por la Patria. From the closing on Saturday 23, at 5:00 p.m., in the Piragua, in Plaza de la Revolución, the children of La Colmenita will be in charge.
The Blue Tent of the National Circus of Cuba also joins this attractive cultural program for the Yes, with its performances of January 26 and 27, and the days 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 and 17 of February in Marianao, as well like the days 22 and 23 in Arroyo Naranjo.
The rest of the places where concerts will be offered are: La Herradura Park, in San Miguel del Padrón; Double Way of Boyeros; Trillo Park, in Centro Habana; Red Square, on October 10; Guaicanamar Park, in Regla; Avenida 180 y Final, in Alamar, and La Piragua, in Plaza de la Revolución.
