With the inauguration of an exhibition by the Cuban artist Eduardo Roca Salazar (Choco), the great hotel Manzana Kempinski begins its journey to celebrate the half-millennium of the capital.

Claudia Fernandez Oliveros, in charge of Public Relations at the hotel, informed the Cuban News Agency that the show "Choco en la Manzana" will be available until March 15 for all the public that wants to enjoy the talent of the creator, National Award of Plastic Arts 2017.

Located in the lobby bar El Arsenal, on the second floor of "Manzana Kempinski", the exhibition has 14 original pieces, 12 collages and an oil painting and a wooden sculpture and collagraph.

Fernandez Oliveros said that they seek to highlight the hotel as a cultural center, available not only to customers but to the entire population, since this is within a very favorable circuit for the arts, as the National Museum of Fine Arts is so close Arts and the Great Theater of Havana Alicia Alonso.

In order for this center to be a house for Cuban artists - he said - there will be activities during the year that will include exhibitions of recognized artists in the country.

The Manzana Kempinski Hotel will also be one of the venues of the XIII Biennial of Havana, where collective exhibitions of the participants in that event will be hosted.
