On Friday, December 14, the connection between Havana, Cuba and Managua, Nicaragua will be inaugurated; of the Venezuelan Consortium of Aeronautical Industries and Air Services (Conviasa), announced Thursday the president of the Venezuelan airline, Ramón Velásquez.
During the inauguration of the new Caracas-Santo Domingo international route, he stressed that this connection will offer approximately 32,448 annual seats, with three weekly frequencies: Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
He also noted that the airline consolidates seven international destinations this year: Cuba, Ecuador, Aruba, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Panama and the Dominican Republic, with the firm intention of opening 13 more routes next year, which will allow Venezuela to generate foreign currency for the self-sustainability of the institution and encourage tourism in the country.
In addition, said that these new routes will enhance the capacity and transport of cargo, which will increase foreign trade.
