The city facing its five hundred years is not asleep, this December in addition to many historical celebrations, is decorated to host this Friday the XVI Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Treaty of Commerce of the Peoples (ALBA-TCP).

The Sixth Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) will take place this Friday, December 14, in the capital of all Cubans, and it is no wonder, as it constitutes a commitment to dreams yet.

The appointment of heads of State and Government constitutes an opportunity to reaffirm the commitment of unity, cooperation and solidarity among the nations that comprise it.

It will also strengthen the capacity for coordination of this integrationist project, arising from the ideals of two great left-wing politicians from our geopolitical environment: Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías and the Commander in Chief and historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.

The Prensa Latina news agency reported that the ALBA-TCP meeting has as essential objectives to reaffirm the commitment of regional unity and integration and to defend the postulates enunciated in the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace, approved during the II Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), on January 29, 2014, in this City of Havana.
