In the place hundreds of people gathered to give their support to the Evoluciona campaign, which under the slogan "harassment delays you", calls everyone to fight against the violence to which women are victims, especially the verbal .
And precisely, most of those who met this afternoon were young, fulfilling one of the premises of the campaign: to speak to the youth through a different character, with the voice of a Cro-Magnon who has been walking through Havana for several days.
The public attending the launch was able to exchange in the space "La Pergola" with a group of renowned singers of young music that is being made today in Cuba as JanCruz, Luis Franco, Frasis and Divergent.
David Blanco came to the stage at the end of the meeting. Together with Toques del Rio, they performed the song "Evolucion", a Cuban classic that David used to play solo and which now comes as a close-up to this new campaign.
The La Marca project was also present with a bodypainting; in addition to congas and parades with Gigantería Habana, living statues, performances, raffles and games of participation. The young people left their impressions and messages in favor of nonviolence in a giant mural enabled at the entrance of the Pavilion.
And this is only the beginning, because the Day for Nonviolence will be extended until 2019 throughout the country, although the core activities will be from December 5 to 8.
This is intended to be a new stage of Eres Más, which at the same time is articulated with a global campaign implemented by eight countries in Latin America, under the name ENOUGH! Let's put an end to the violence against women.
