Lizt Alfonso, director of the dance company that bears her name, was included in the selection for her important work as an ambassador of Cuban culture, which she has performed in shows in hundreds of cities around the world.

Cuban writer Isabel Allende, Peruvian lawyer Cindy Arlette Contreras, Nigerian Abisoye Ajayi-Akinfolarin, and British Paralympic athlete Liz Johnson are on the list.
