The members of the Central Committee Luis Antonio Torres Iríbar, first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in Havana, and Reinaldo García Zapata, president of the Provincial Assembly of Popular Power, toured several works of social benefit in the capital city, and inaugurated some of the they, as well as re-inaugurated others that were remodeled. In the municipality of Ten October, the main leaders of the PCC and the Government handed over a maternal home in the Acosta Popular Council and in La Víbora an area for non-state workers in the Monaco area. On San Mariano Street, between Goss and La Sola, both leaders inaugurated a center for children without subsidiary protection. They visited the Santa Catalina Stomatology Clinic, located in the street of the same name, public health institution that received a capital reparation and that benefits the population of the health areas that serve the Pasteur polyclinics, Luis de la Puente Uceda and the three doctor's offices of the family of the polyclinic-hospital Raúl Gómez García. In the visited sites, 500th Anniversary plaques of Havana were unveiled.
