Next Wednesday, November 21 at 4:00 pm, the personal exhibition "Miradas" will be inaugurated by the young creator Carlos Aristides in the "José Martí" Memorial, in the Plaza de la Revolución in Havana.
The exhibition consists of 9 paintings and a sculpture that reflect different stages of the Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution on the second anniversary of his death.
The Cuban journalist and writer Wilmer Rodríguez Fernández, outlined in the catalog: "From the vision and the brush of a young Havana man of 22 years, Miradas is an exhibition that proposes nine different ways of perceiving Fidel (...)
Later it means that "not only did he try to capture the resemblance, but the essences of the portrait, the soul through the expressions of the face and sometimes the body." Thus emerged, in oil on canvas, man from the innocence of a child, the one that calms his thirst like the macheteros, the pensive, the baseball player, the fisherman, all images that bring us closer to an intimate Fidel, unknown to many. "
