The Polytechnic Institute of Economics Andrés Luján, from the municipality of San Miguel del Padrón in Havana, resumed its classes after the recovery of the property severely affected by the tornado on 27 January.
The director of the campus, Alién Carvajal, told Radio Reloj that the institution offers seven specialties to more than 1,300 students, who are served by 57 highly qualified teachers.
In the tour of the Polytechnic of Economy Andres Lujan, explained that the atmospheric phenomenon damaged doors, windows, roof and sports areas, which were rebuilt with optimal quality at the cost of half a million pesos.
The builders, teachers and educational authorities of the capital worked for more than 10 hours a day to restart classes with better conditions.
