The Center a + adolescent spaces has planned new options for participation and learning for March.
According to publications of the profile of the institution on Facebook, as part of the activities planned within the V Children's Festival of Audiovisual La Espiral, will be screened until this Saturday the Works in contest made by teenagers from 16 countries, including Cuban proposals.
On Monday, March 18, at ten o'clock in the morning, MsC.Tania Licea Jiménez, program officer of the Office of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Cuba, will provide training on the prevention of violence in adolescence as a health problem.
Similarly, the MsC.Yeny Borrego, social researcher at the Center for Youth Studies and principal coordinator of the "Children scream" project will offer another training space that will have as its theme the inclusion of adolescents with special educational needs.
Since 2011, UNICEF and the Office of the Historian of Havana jointly created the project "Integral and participatory social development of adolescents in Old Havana" better known as (a +, adolescent spaces) with the aim of promoting vocational training and Inclusion in the social and economic life of the country of children between 12 and 18 years old.
The a + Center, adolescent spaces, located in Compostela between Lieutenant Rey and Muralla, each month proposes a diverse program that includes dissimilar spheres of life and allows adolescents to acquire knowledge, apprehend various tasks or trades, and, at the same time, recreate through the role of main figure.
