According to its members, Latin and Caribbean music is a regular source of inspiration for Blondie, and its repertoire includes songs related to this sound such as Rapture, The Tide Is High, Wipe Off My Sweat, Sugar on the Side and some fusions with reggaeton.
The group includes some of its original members such as Debbie Harry (singer), Chris Stein (guitar) and Clem Burke (drums), along with instrumentalists Leigh Foxx (bass since 1998) Matt Katz-Bohen on keyboards and synthesizers (from 2008) and Tommy Kessler on guitar (since 2010). According to the statements of the musicians, they intend to go beyond their standard repertoire to create something special, hence they appear in the selection Attack of the Giant Ants, Man overboard, Call Me and Sugar on the Side.
