With the first place today in the flying goal of Guáimaro and the second in the line drawn in Las Tunas, Juan Miguel Cabrera strengthened the cast of Sancti Spíritus as defending champion in the team classification in the VI National Classic Road Cycling.
Today is the fourth stage and the longest of the event, Holguín-Camagüey, of 199 kilometers (km).
Villa Clara Gian Carlos Hernández was the first to arrive in Las Tunas (km 79 of the stage), followed by Cabrera from Espírito Santo and Osmany Pérez from Ciego de Ávila.
Cabrera went to the front in the flying goal of Guáimaro (at km 120), in front of Hernández and Miguel Valido from Sancti Spiritus.
At the exit of Holguin, Sancti Spíritus headed the 15 teams, with time of 29: 16.37 hours, followed by Havana (4 seconds), Artemisa (26) and Holguín (35).
In the Individual General Classification the leader of the race was Carlos Álvarez, with 9:45:09 hours, ahead of Pinar del Río Emilio Pérez (8 seconds) and Alejandro Parra of Holguin (17 years old).
Pedro Portuondo from Santiago started as leader of the mountain prizes, with 20 points, followed by Yoel Solenzal (11) and Yasmany Balmaseda (8).
