The 36th International Fair of Havana, FIHAV 2018, which will be held in its usual Expocuba venue from October 29 to November 2, also ensures its presence on the Internet with an official website (www.feriahavana.com), so that the users of the network of networks have access to the important commercial exchange of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Although the initiative of a digital page of the fair is not new, this time it presents a more renewed design, with a cover dedicated to Havana, a city close to reaching its 500 years of foundation and which will be revered throughout the appointment.
In addition to the official invitation of FIHAV 2018, Internet users can find on the platform a space dedicated to the investment forum that will be held for the third time in the context of the event, explained to Cubadebate Daylí Martínez, deputy director of the Center for the Promotion of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, ProCuba.
As has happened on previous occasions, foreign businessmen can register to participate in the forum, as well as find information associated with the legal framework for investment in Cuba, its related policies and other matters of interest.
Calls to the Quality, Design and Advertising contests promoted every year, as well as a section where the catalog of participating Cuban and foreign exhibitors appears, and a gallery and news session, are also on the site, available in the languages Spanish and English.
FIHAV 2018 will also be visible on the web through the Procuba website, another important way where users will access all the information related to the fair, such as the renewed version of the Portfolio of foreign investment opportunities, and the exportable offer Cuba of goods and services, once they are presented.
To date, around 2,500 entrepreneurs from over 60 nations, some 30 chambers and trade promotion institutions have confirmed their attendance, as well as a score of high-level official delegations and numerous "portfolio in hand" groups.
Venezuela, China and Russia, important commercial partners of Cuba, will repeat their usual presence at the fair, while Spain is once again the most represented country.
According to preliminary information, the 25 contracted pavilions are full, in an area of approximately 25 thousand square meters.
The Antillean nation will exhibit its goods and services in the Central Pavilion of Expocuba, in which five thousand square meters will be represented 300 companies and national entities from all sectors of the economy.
