Grupo Gaviota calls for a photo contest for the 500 in Havana

In the midst of the celebrations for the 500th anniversary of Havana, the Grupo de Turismo Gaviota S.A. He convinced the My Havana 500 Competition, in which professionals and amateurs of photography can participate.

Through information disseminated on social networks, he explained that the call includes the categories of people, architecture, landscape, sea and lights.

The contestants, whose snapshots can be taken with a mobile device or professional cameras, must be over 16 years old.

To compete, each participant must upload the photograph, with public reach, to their Facebook profile, using the #Michael500 Contest label and specifying the category.

The images can be published until April 15 and the winners will be announced on April 24.

According to the information disclosed, from the evaluation of the total of works presented, a Grand Prize will be awarded and three places for each theme. In addition, the photo that gets the most reactions on Facebook will receive the Popularity Prize.

The awarded works will be part of a collective exhibition that will later be transferred to several destinations of the Gaviota S.A.

All the images in competition, whether awarded or not, may be used by the Group in the dissemination of its products and services, recognizing the credit of the author.
