A declaration condemning the imperial maneuvers against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on behalf of the 18 thousand members of the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC) in Havana, approved the delegates and guests to the provincial assembly of the balance of that organization.

In the final session of the meeting a video was presented about transcendental moments of the life and legacy of Commander Hugo Rafael Chávez.

The Hero of the Republic of Cuba, Ramón Labañino, National Vice-president of the ANEC, when intervening referred among other topics to "the threats that the brother town faces and its Revolution".

The Homeland of Simón Bolívar and Hugo Chávez is the most threatened country in this continent because it has a lot of oil; hence the power groups of the United States have in their hegemonic agenda all possible variants, including armed aggression, to overthrow the legitimate President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, affirmed the statement.

The most powerful empire in the world tries to stick its claws on that nation, which is like doing it with Cuba and with the rest of our America. Let us then raise our voices to prevent this plot in time, says the text, and concludes "Let's stand in line like the trees - in the words of Marti - to prevent in time this other onslaught of the imperial Goliath."

In the presence of Oscar Luis Pentón, national president of the ANEC, and Nicolás Valladares, who was ratified in that position at the provincial level, Labañino said that such an imperialist threat can not be allowed "because we are all Bolivarians and we defend Latin America, In addition, we are the next ones, he said, referring to the United States' pretensions of also overthrowing the Cuban Revolution.

The Hero of the Republic of Cuba called on the island's economists and accountants to support the people of Venezuela and their legitimate president, Nicolás Maduro.
