The popular Puerto Rican singer Gilberto Santa Rosa will be in charge of the closing of the XXI Habano Festival, which began at the Havana Convention Center, with more than 2,000 guests from some 70 countries.

Santa Rosa visited the island for the first time last July, where he gave a concert at the Josone Varadero Jazz & Son Festival and on the Havanan boardwalk. Ernesto González, creative marketing director of Habanos S.A. pointed out that the presentation of the outstanding salsero will take place on the night of February 22.

Considered the biggest party of the Premium cigars in the world, this year the Habano Festival is attended by about 230 exhibitors from 12 countries, including Germany, France, Spain, Italy, China, Panama, Mexico and Cuba. This edition of the Habano Festival is dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Havana, and special significance will be the presentation of a humidor San Cristóbal de La Habana 1519, which includes one hundred cigars of the brand.
