Concert by Puerto Rican singer Jerry Rivera in Havana

A unique concert will be offered by the Puerto Rican singer Jerry Rivera this February 20 in the Metropolitan Park of Havana, who participates for the first time in the Salsa Festival that will be held until the next 24 in this cultural recreational complex.
This was announced by Maikel Blanco, director of the Salsa Mayor group and founder of the salsa festival, which, in its fourth edition, will be dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Havana, Ciudad Maravilla, 100 years after the birth of Benny Moré, 50 from the Los Van Van orchestra and the 30th anniversary of the Cuban company ARTEX.
Gerardo Rivera Rodríguez, better known as Jerry Rivera, comes from a family of musicians and from a very young age, along with his parents and his brother Erwin Rivera, began in this event. At the age of 15 he recorded his first album, Empezando a Vivir, followed by Abriendo Puertas and another 15 albums.
The Puerto Rican artist presents a solid and long career in the genre, for which he has been named with the nicknames El Niño or El Baby de la Salsa. Themes such as "Amores como el nuestro", "Qué Hay de Mal", "Cara de niño", and "Nada sin ti", among others, are very much remembered by Cubans.
