Lazo highlighted the example that represents the construction of 21 homes of workers of Petróleos de Cuba, CUPET, which is assumed by this important entity of the Cuban economy as observed during a tour of the municipality of Regla and that extended to other affected areas. the capital.

In correspondence with the work guided by the Provincial Defense Council of Havana, it is expected to accelerate the delivery of materials in the Points of Sale of the municipalities affected by the tornado.

According to the report presented by the General of the Reserve Division Ramón Pardo Guerra, Chief of the National General Staff of Civil Defense, the commissions of that institution continue to be active and they assure to notify a good state of mind among the evacuated persons, who receive all the necessary attention in their condition of evacuees and shelters.

Reinaldo García Zapata, vice president of the Provincial Defense Council of Havana, demanded that the representatives of the governing bodies in the municipalities of Guanabacoa, Cerro, Regla and La Habana del Este, accelerate the delivery of materials to the established Points of Sale and check that the resources provided at subsidized prices to the affected population are used to compensate for the damage caused by the tornado that affected municipalities in the capital on January 27.

In his speech he referred to the assurance of materials from other provinces to ensure the necessary supply of construction materials in the affected areas and stressed that "we must be systematic and maintain the pace of work and support every day.

For his part, Luis Antonio Torres Iríbar, President of the Defense Council of Havana, stressed that "time can not be the obstacle to the agility of solving the problems of our compatriots, hence the need to verify how they have been used. construction materials, in accordance with the checks of a Commission of the Ministry of Construction, Civil Defense, the Directorate of Government Inspection in Havana, and local authorities.
